If, like me, you do not feel comfortable in a gym setting, you can use this video program in the comfort of your own home.


I created this program from the most recent research, which reveals that bone building is site specific—meaning it affects certain areas of the body, such as your hips, or lumbar spine. It also tells us that external load (like weights, walking vests, and resistance bands) is crucial to creating change.


I have personally experienced an osteoporosis and osteopenia diagnosis, and I know how embarrassing and disheartening it can feel. It can make you feel weak and overwhelmed, wondering which exercises, if any, are right for you. This overwhelm can lead to paralysis, and avoiding exercise altogether.

The great news is: I’ve done the research for you. I’ve compiled exercises based on the latest research, and used them over the years on myself and my satisfied clients. I even reversed my own osteoporosis diagnosis into osteopenia (in my hip; click the link to see my DEXA scores) by committing to the exercise program I’ll share with you in Bone Boot Camp!

In this program you’ll learn the exercises without weights, and slowly progress to using 2 pound weights, 5 pound weights, or more. You can even begin by lifting household items like soup cans! I created this program with your health and safety in mind, which means we’ll start with proper alignment and work our way up to higher weights and more repetitions.

About Me

Hi, I'm Sarah Purcell, and I'm a longtime yoga and pilates teacher. I've created Bone Boot Camp for Osteoporosis specifically. I successfully reversed my osteoporosis with weight bearing activity, and Bone Boot Camp was created to promote bone growth for you too.


I work with clients in-person in Florida, and online via Zoom, and I'm also a co-founder of Pause for Movement, an online workout program for peri and post menopausal women that focuses on the core and pelvic floor.


My goal is to spread the word that aging does not have to mean core and pelvic floor dysfunction and aches and pains that keep coming back. You can grow stronger and healthier as you age!
